On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to welcome you to the information portal of the “Advanced Course in Clinical Embryology” offered by the Center of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Clinical Embryology is a multifaceted and complex scientific field that has noted leaps of progress in recent years. Conception of the “Advanced Course in Clinical Embryology” was fueled by the aspiration to create an innovative specialized study program entailing a thorough and comprehensive curriculum advancing our understanding and knowledge in Clinical Embryology, from setting-up and organizing the Assisted Conception Unit, to Standard Operating Procedures, to novel approaches, to understanding how to evaluate published data. When designing the course, our aim was to ascertain a state-of-the-art program presenting high-impact international instructors, and speakers that serve as global leaders in the field, and this is what this course offers. This is of essence especially because clinical embryology is characterized by a high level of specialization and there is an enthusiastic constant influx of new techniques and approaches in the embryology and andrology laboratory.
